Sendero Provisions gives the small details some attention, from the map under the Glacier cap’s brim to the corduroy on its Big Bend rope cap. The choice is mainly between a structured crown and a softer five-panel. A single hat ships for $5.95, with free returns for 30 days.

What it sells
Sendero Provisions is a Waco, Texas company that made its first hat in 2014, inspired by Big Bend country.
Most of its park hats are structured 6-panel caps with a woven art patch, a curved brim with a topographic map printed underneath, and a snapback. They cost $35 and come for Rocky Mountain, Great Smoky Mountains, Joshua Tree, Grand Canyon, Glacier and Yosemite. Black Canyon of the Gunnison is $32, and Olympic gets one too.
There are softer 5-panel rope caps too, in corduroy or brushed canvas with a flat brim, for Big Bend and Yosemite. Every park hat is one size with a snapback.

Hidden Lake is the view on the patch, and the topographic print underneath the brim gives you another detail to look at. The curved brim and structured cotton crown make this a more conventional cap shape than Sendero Provisions’ soft rope caps.

Khaki corduroy gives the Big Bend cap its texture. The soft crown sits differently from Sendero Provisions’ structured six-panels, though it keeps the flat brim and rope across the front.
Downsides
It’s $4 more than the twill caps, and corduroy runs warm in summer.

The tan brushed canvas gives this soft cap a smoother texture than the corduroy Big Bend. A woven Yosemite patch and a rope sit above the flat brim.
