Rainier Hat Co. in Seattle runs NationalParkHats.com. We use the services described here to host the site and understand how people find and use it.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to see how people use the site: which pages get read, which links to other sites get clicked, how visitors found us, and roughly where they are and what device they’re on. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this. We use it only to understand our own traffic, and we don’t use it to show you ads.

Google processes this data under its own terms, which it explains in how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can turn it off with Google’s opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Google Search Console

We use Google Search Console to see how the site shows up in Google Search, such as which searches lead here and how often. It reports only totals to us, with no information about individual visitors, and it doesn’t put anything on your device.

Hosting

Cloudflare hosts the site and, like any web host, keeps standard server logs such as IP addresses and the pages requested.

What we don’t do

There are no accounts, forms or ads on this site, and we don’t sell personal information.
